"Carpal Candy" is a brand targetted towards young adults who enjoy the nostalgia of the toys that they used to love. The toys made by "Carpal Candy" are redesigned for a more modern and adult audience.
Mission
At Carpal Candy, we make bold and exciting toys for young adults. Using innovative packaging and design, we want to bring the same joy to this group that they once felt as children.
Logo
"Carpal Candy" refers to hand candy, small toys that fit right in the palm of your hand. The logo is designed out of all "c"'s, connecting back to the name, and is made to resemble a molecular piece of candy.

This mismatched type, mixed in upper and lower case and color, is made to reflect change. The original concept was based on time, on how it can exist in either the past, present, or future, which led me to be inspired by long exposure and light. I used LED light gloves to make the type, on a slow changing rainbow function.

You can call the number to have one sent to you, but some people don't even know that that is an option. With this innovative and pocket-sized map, any tourist can easily find the go-to spots for quickly catching a Savannah Pedicab. What's it about?
For this project, I was attempting to delve deeper into idioms. People use idioms casually in everyday life, but rarely imagine the literal visual that they suggest. Each one of these is a literal interpretation of an idiom, including: 'Read my lips,' 'Keep your eyes peeled,' and 'Out of the blue.'

Flux Studios is a creative agency based in Sheng Wan, Hong Kong. We chose to name our studio "Flux" because our designs, like the world flux, consists of a continuous change in outcomes–we are a daring and modern company that will bring all of our clients works to an unthinkable level– and we are constantly producing works that are different, yet still cohesive and fluid. Through our designs, we hope to inspire that one person that is striving to go above and beyond and let them know, "anything is possible".
Mission Statement
At Flux Studios we strive to combine cutting edge design with cophisticated professionalism. We find inspiration by bringing together both traditional Chinese and American culture juxtaposed with contemporary art and design. Using our unique aesthetic, we strive to create an image that will help our clients stand out against their competition.
Logo
Since our studio strives to combine both an American and Chinese aesthetic, we wanted our logo to display a well-balanced fusion of that. Although our logo is written to look like a Chinese character, if tilted to the side, it reads as Flux.
This project was a collaboration with Elisa Wong and Lauren Anderson.

For us who love color, it just isn't a cheap option. You can find neon lipsticks and eyeshadows, as well as dark pigments, online and in high-end retail, but never in your local drug store or walmart. At KROMA Cosmetics, a hypothetical brand, they would reach a lower price point, from ages 14-30. It will stand out on the shelves with its display and packaging, but will not burn a hole in an average consumers pocket.
Mission Statement
At KROMA Cosmetics, we want to be able to bring individuality to everyone at a low cost. With our long-lasting pigments, we want to create a product that will satisfy our customers with its uniqueness, and convenience.
Design Aesthetic
The KROMA design will reflect the colors represented in the first line. This will be a selections of neons and blacks, making this a clean, but bold design. The pattern on most of the packaging is a knockout and reflection of the logo, and will be repeated on the ads and displays.

About
The CBGB is becoming more popular than ever. People are wearing the merch, and attending music festivals in its honor, but the actual site of the CBGB is nothing but a landmark. For the reopening, I have rebranded it and given it a new look.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to restore the CBGB to its former glory, using a new style of branding in a grand re-opening. While still using a more sleek and modern approach, we will keep the grunge aesthetic to remain true to the original foundation and target audience.
Logo
For this re branding, the original logo will remain, with a new vectorized icon of the awning in certain places, and cleaned up just a little. This will allow it to remain recognizable, but still be revised for a fresh start.

Mission
One of my deepest passions has always been in animal rights. In this urban campaign, I attempted to combine visual stimulation with factual information to help bring light to the horrible conditions many animals are put in. By putting people in the situation of confined slaughter-animals, I was attempting to win both empathy for these creatures, and to spread knowledge of the facts behind American slaughter houses.
Logo
The name, Inhuman Slaughterhouse has multiple meanings. First, the most obvious, is to represent that this is not a reflection of what is happening to actual human beings (Inhuman). The inhuman is also supposed to be a play on the word "inhumane." The ornate-type frame around the letterforms are actually vectorized butcher hooks, and are filled in with a rust-type texture.
