INHUMAN SLAUGHTERHOUSE
Campaign Design, Billboard Design, Environmental Design

Project Summary

Mission
One of my deepest passions has always been in animal rights. In this urban campaign, I attempted to combine visual stimulation with factual information to help bring light to the horrible conditions many animals are put in. By putting people in the situation of confined slaughter-animals, I was attempting to win both empathy for these creatures, and to spread knowledge of the facts behind American slaughter houses.

Logo
The name, Inhuman Slaughterhouse has multiple meanings. First, the most obvious, is to represent that this is not a reflection of what is happening to actual human beings (Inhuman). The inhuman is also supposed to be a play on the word “inhumane.” The ornate-type frame around the letterforms are actually vectorized butcher hooks, and are filled in with a rust-type texture.

For this project, I took and edited all my own photos.
